Screenwriting for Actors!
Are you an Actor who wants to write your own material? I’d love to help you out with this! Living in LA, I made friends with many actors and taught many of them how to write scripts that they could produce themselves.
Auditioning and hoping to land parts can be soooo tiresome, and the rejection, ugh! When I first moved to North Hollywood, I had several roommates who were actors, and I know auditioning sucks! So instead of waiting on other people, Don't! Go out there and write and produce your own content!
I've helped actors like Cheryl Chase (voice of Angelica Pickles on "Rugrats") write her own series that she's producing at the end of this year. I've also teamed up with many actors, and we've made our own series, and we've pitched TV shows to 3 Arts!
If you're not sure if you want to write your own movie, TV show, or web series, we can talk it out during our 1st session. Then, I'll teach you how to write that content and give you deadlines to make sure it gets done!
Here are just a few reasons why having weekly or bi-weekly instruction for screenwriting can be immensely beneficial:

Feedback and Critique
I'll ask for pages and deadlines (but keep them manageable for you) and give you feedback and critique at our next session.

The journey of writing a script can be overwhelming at times. Writing Sessions can provide a much-needed sense of accountability and discipline. Knowing that you have a weekly or bi-weekly commitment encourages you to engage with the material consistently, meet your deadlines, and maintain regular writing practice.

It's not uncommon to experience moments of self-doubt or a creative block. My writing sessions serve as a wellspring of motivation and inspiration. Here are just a few reasons why having weekly or bi-weekly instruction for screenwriting can be immensely beneficial:
Keep Your Script Moving Forward!

Structured Screenplay Guidance
My teaching sessions offer a structured framework, guiding you through each aspect of the screenwriting process. I'll provide step-by-step guidance, breaking down the intricacies of screenwriting and movie structure into manageable lessons. Also, once I know more about your story, I can help teach you how to market your script!
Continuous Learning
Weekly or bi-weekly instruction consistently provides a source of new knowledge, techniques, and storytelling approaches. I'll help you sharpen your skills, learn new concepts, and explore innovative ideas, all while consistently moving your script forward.
Feedback and Critique
I'll ask for pages and deadlines (but keep them manageable for you) and give you feedback and critique at our next session.
Accountability and Discipline
The journey of writing a screenplay can be overwhelming at times. Weekly Writing Sessions can provide a much-needed sense of accountability and discipline. Knowing that you have a weekly or bi-weekly commitment encourages you to engage with the material consistently, meet your deadlines, and maintain regular writing practice.
After our first meeting, you'll be responsible for writing about 10 new pages until the next time we meet. That may seem intimidating at first, but keep in mind that scripts are less wordy than books, and scripts are supposed to have a lot of white space on the page, unlike books. Most new writers can write these pages in 3 - 6 hours a week.
Motivation and Inspiration
Writing can be a solitary pursuit, and it's not uncommon to experience moments of self-doubt or a creative block. My writing sessions serve as a wellspring of motivation and inspiration. Interacting with an experienced screenwriter and witnessing the progress of your script can reignite your passion for storytelling and spark creativity!
Keep It Fun
Screenwriting can feel challenging at times, but I'll teach you how to Keep It Fun so you'll stay motivated to write your script!
