JANE BAILEY is a high school geek, good-natured girl, and the valedictorian of her graduating class. She’s about to go to an Ivy League University and follow her loving mother’s footsteps of becoming a radiologist. Jane’s mother, EMILY, currently works for an evil, ruthless woman named DIANE HAWK. Lately, Emily has been forced by Diane to develop radioactive marijuana. On the day of Jane’s high school graduation, Emily threatens to quit her research when she finds out Diane smokes the radioactive marijuana. Diane now has the superhuman power to create fire from nothing. She murders Emily with it.
Six months later, Jane is still trying to solve the mystery of her mother’s homicide . She’s now in college and is unsuccessfully celebrating her 19th birthday with her stoner best friend, ZOEY. Jane has never smoked pot before, but Zoey convinces Jane to smoke for the first time. Jane needs to loosen up and getting high is always a good idea. Zoey is out of ganja, but Jane has one nugget of the radioactive weed her mom developed. They use it to roll a magical joint with their paraplegic roommate, CHET.
The three kids smoke it and literally get SUPER STONED. From that point on, they all have superpowers, but only when they’re high. They each have one special power and decide to become superheroes. Jane possesses telekinesis and is determined to track her mom's killer. Chet is a paraplegic when sober, but becomes a kung fu master when he’s baked. Zoey has the ability to change form like Mystique from Xmen, but she can only change different races.
After seeing the superheroes fight crime on TV, Diane decides to become the supervillain known as The Skinny Bitch. She also develops a new strain of radioactive marijuana, “Suicidal Sativa,” the first marijuana that kills you moments after you smoke it. It's a super hero story with very high stakes.
